Chinese Grand Prix ~ April 2018

The Chinese Grand Prix undeniably offers a fantastic Formula 1 experience thanks to it’s spectacular track. Inspired by Chinese History and shaped like the character Shang, meaning "High", the Shanghai International Circuit brilliantly combines tradition and modernism. While General Admission areas offer some of the best views in Formula 1, the Main Grandstand's astonishing 29 0000 seats provide panoramic views of over 80% of the circuit. The first Grand Prix was held at Shanghai International Circuit in 2004. The track consists of 16 turns; of which most are slow- to medium-speed corners. The track opens with a distinctive long right-hander, and also feature a fantastic 1.4-km straight.

BACK STRAIGHT

The numerous straight lines of the Shanghai Grand Prix inevitably contribute to its charm. The last three straight lines of the track witness cars speeding sometimes over 300km/H. And if speed is what you’re looking for, you’ll relish every moment of your day sitting in Grandstand H. Located at the end of the back straight, you’ll see the cars speeding up towards you before slamming on the brakes, cruising around a pair of corners and going full throttle again. Depending on where you’re seated, you may even catch a glimpse of the last straight line. If not so, giant screens opposite the stand will be displaying the integrity of the race.
