Spain’s second largest city and the capital of Catalonia is a thrillingly unique city and is the home of the modernist artist Gaudi. Here you’ll find some of the most famous and bizarre architecture in the world and, The Gothic Quarter historic churches , medieval streets, a strong culture, superb shopping , countless restaurants and bars and of course plenty of Spanish pizzazz.
There is plenty to do in the city but take the time to venture out of the city and you’ll be rewarded with beautiful nature. In the north stands Mount Tibidabo, while overlooking the sea is the looming hill of Montjuic.
