Mexican Grand Prix

The high-altitude circuit Autodromo Hermanos Rodriguez hosts a race with a formidable ambience; the local fans contribute with an energetic support and enthusiasm for the sport at the Mexican Grand Prix. It’s location, close to vibrant Mexico City, makes a trip to this event a perfect combination of motorsport thrill and new discoveries. The track is named after the successful brothers Ricardo and Pedro, who helped build the tremendous growth and support for Formula 1 in Mexico, and has seen quite some thrilling races with dangerous accidents throughout the years; the track is famous for the daunting 180-degree Peltrada corner. Before Mexico was reinstated on the calendar in 2015, the facility was considerably upgraded, and the Peltrada broken up into slow bends. After this restoration, the circuit now includes 17 corners and two long straights.

YELLOW ZONE

Placed in the yellow zone by the cut-out part of the Presidential (Lake S) curve, Grandstand Grada 9 offers a distant view of the cars speeding up after the exit from the Moisés Solana S curve, a direct view of the breaking and handling of turns 4, 5 and 6 in front of you, as well as the cars’ performances and thrilling overtaking opportunities in the Stadium area.

Placed in the yellow zone towards the end of the cut-out part of the Presidential curve, Grandstand Grada 11 offers a distant view of the cars speeding up after the exit from the Moisés Solana S curve and of the breaking and handling of turns 4, 5 and 6 in front of you. Also enjoy the cars’ performances and thrilling overtaking opportunities in the Stadium area, as well as the acceleration out of the Presidential (Lake S) Curve.

BLUE ZONE

Grandstand Grada 3 is the second grandstand in the blue zone at the end of the main straight; a seat here will give you a view of the whole race along this straight line. Watch the exciting overtakes and brakes from 330 km/h into the Moisés Solana S Curve entrance as the cars take on the three turns here and start heading towards the Stadium area.

The Grada 8 Grandstand is placed at the beginning of the Presidential (or Lake S) Curve, tilted so that you can appreciate a lot of the action in the stadium, such as the deceleration from the 330-km/h straight into the first 90-degree turn. This is a great spot for intense action and speed variations as you also will have a clear view of the cars accelerating again, heading towards the upcoming S curves.

GREEN ZONE

The Main Grandstand is situated in the green zone, at the beginning of the circuit’s main straight. With a seat here, you will enjoy a privileged view of the full race with highlights such as a first-hand view of the pit activity, the grid setup, the exciting pit-stops, the race start/finish and the prestigious podium ceremony.
