Flowerpot Bay Lodge is perfectly situated to offer commanding views above its namesake and is located just 75 meters from the beach and 100 meters from the main wharf. The lodge, finished in Colonial style in keeping with the historic nature of the site, is purposefully designed to provide a warm home-like atmosphere with the ambiance of a country retreat.
Flowerpot Bay Lodge is constructed entirely of timber, with exposed timber beams, timber wall paneling and recycled T&G flooring to the main lounge where guest are invited to make themselves at home. The large sheltered deck directly overlooking the Bay provides the perfect area for outdoor dining or relaxing with a view you won’t get tired of. There is central heating and Wi-Fi throughout. The ground floor incorporates the main guest entrance, bar and lounge area and toilet facilities. Guests will also find an accessible unit, a commercial kitchen, laundry and managers’ residence on the lower level.
The upper level incorporates five spacious, king-sized bedrooms all with ensuite facilities. The Premier Room 4 incorporates a super-king bed and double doors to a large private deck overlooking Flowerpot Bay. The three luxury rooms, 1, 2 & 3 also have private balconies overlooking the bay. All rooms are tastefully decorated in a colonial style in keeping with the historic nature of the site, offer a sea view (except room 5), Wi-Fi, central heating and coffee/tea maker.
During your stay at the Flowerpot Bay Lodge, dinner will be taken at the hotel as there are no alternative options. The Flowerpot Bay Lodge aims is to provide a homestyle, fresh, hearty range of Island fare including local meat and seafood and homegrown, organic fruits and vegetables cooked to your liking.
