The Firestone Grand Prix Of St Petersburg has seen plenty of drivers have get into trouble over the years as they frequently hit speeds in excess of 170 mph as the 14-turn course twists through the streets of downtown St. Petersburg, circling the Duke Energy Center, the world famous Dali Museum and then onto a section of runway of Albert Whitted Airport, all while overlooking the stunning city waterfront.
